What I Do
At Restorative Education, I apply my knowledge of mental health, learning, and behavior to help children, adolescents, and young adults succeed both in and out of the classroom. I offer counseling services as well as parent coaching. What’s more, I collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to foster supportive learning environments through consultation. I also provide evaluative services for children, adolescents, and young adults for questions and concerns directly related to learning problems. That is, I provide data collection and assessment on cognitive, academic, behavior, motivation, and personality factors related to learning.
I am well-versed in special education issues. What’s more, with an open mind and compassion I acknowledge the unique experiences of LTBGQ and racially or ethnically diverse youth and adults.
Examples of clients I often serve include but are not limited to:
- Middle schooler falling behind in class due to a learning disability such as dyslexia
- High schooler routinely struggling to solve problems and resolve conflicts at school
- College student failing to meet the time management and organizational demands of campus life
